Placester
Boston, MA
Environments at Work partnered with Placester for its headquarters relocation to Boston’s Financial District. Founded in 2011, Boston-based Placester builds customized and optimized websites for real estate professionals.
Placester consolidated its staff to a new unique, dynamic workspace designed with a residential feel, emulating rooms and scenes of a home. The resulting space supports and reinforces the young, growing company’s culture and branding, as Placester was selected as one of the Boston Business Journal’s best Places to Work 2016.
The project consisted of 220 workstations, 4 private offices, traditional conference rooms, and residential style social spaces including a café, “yards”, “one-on-one” rooms, a “family room”, and a “den”. Haworth Compose was selected for the workstations using low height panels to reflect a collaborative work environment.
The Environments at Work project team was selected as Placester’s partner based on it’s ability to respond with creative, furnture solutions to fulfill the client’s residential design aesthetic within a tightly defined budget. Additionally, EAW completed the project on a fast-track schedule.
