District Hall
Boston, MA
EAW helped create District Hall, a public gathering space and innovation center for the City of Boston. The building is part of a 23-acre Seaport Square development project in Boston’s Innovation District.
The unique space is designed as a hub where people can meet informally, host corporate or social events, or simply drop in to exchange ideas. Comprised mainly of a large open area, the space remains flexible and can be allocated as needed.
EAW provided Haworth furnishings for the main space – which includes lounge seating and tables – conference rooms, open area meeting “pods”, as well as seating and tables for the café area.
Furnishings were specifically chosen to support the objective of District Hall – to create an open and social environment to foster collaboration.
