Ampersand Capital Partners

Boston, MA

When Ampersand Capital decided to relocate from Wellesley to a state-of-the-art office at One Post Office Square in downtown Boston, they sought a partner who could deliver a workspace that reflected their growth, culture, and vision for the future. With a focus on collaboration, flexibility, and modern design, Environments at Work (EAW) played a pivotal role in bringing this project to life by shaping furniture solutions that aligned with Ampersand’s dynamic needs while staying true to their brand identity. Working closely with the design team at Visnick & Caulfield, led by Daniela Maher, and contractor Columbia, EAW’s team developed thoughtful layouts for the space. The office design accommodates approximately 50 employees and features a mix of open work areas, private offices with panoramic city views, and collaborative zones, including conference rooms, huddle spaces, and café-style seating. Throughout the process, Ampersand’s executive team was deeply involved, ensuring that every detail—from layout modifications to material finishes was tailored to create a workspace that balances forward-thinking innovation with employee comfort.

What set this project apart was seamless collaboration and adaptability. Our team partnered with Ampersand to refine furniture solutions that met both aesthetic aspirations and functional requirements. The result is a vibrant, modern workspace that reflects Ampersand’s commitment to its people and sustainability, housed within a LEED-certified building in the heart of Boston.

Ampersand Capital’s new office is more than a workplace—it’s a statement of their dedication to creating an inspiring environment where teams can thrive.
